Let’s talk about yellow

When talking with my clients I have found that yellow is the most intimidating color. So many tells me they never would dream off wearing yellow. For many with blue eyes yellow is the eye intensifier, this is for many quite scary and when we’re having our second video chat this is a topic we can talk a lot about. I always say that yellow is a very powerful color, so for many it can be a bit too much. However no one needs to wear big amounts of yellow even if it is their eye intensifier. A little go a long way, it can be a camisole under a cardigan, some accessories or some flowers in a pattern for instance. Funny thing is that when they start trying out yellow they often end up loving it. When they have their own custom made color fan they know exactly which yellow to wear.

On the opposite side of the color wheel we find purple, complementary colors works so great together and what is more suitable for spring than yellow and purple?

I have played around with my Stylebook again and created one outfit for each season with these two colors.

The yellow for Springs are golden and bright. Hello, spring has certainly sprung when we see this lovely color combination. It makes us think about crocus. Springs can have other kind of yellows in their palette as well, but all have a golden tone in them. Springs can use violet, purple and periwinkle.
